　アレクサンダー殿下は、メクレンブルク＝シュトレーリッツ系統の当主ボルヴィン殿下の長男で継嗣です。

　2020年7月30日、メクレンブルク公子ミハエル殿下（His Highness Duke Michael of Mecklenburg ： カール・ミハエル・ヘルツォーク・ツー・メクレンブルク＝シュトレーリッツ ： Carl Michael Herzog zu Mecklenburg-Strelitz）が、シュレスヴィヒ＝ホルシュタイン州ラッツェブルクにてシュレスヴィヒ＝ホルシュタイン州経済・運輸・労働・技術・観光大臣ベルント・クラウス・ブーフホルツ閣下（Bernd Klaus Buchholz）やアナベル・クレマー州議会議員（Annabell Krämer）らと会談したようです。
　テーマは国内観光。

　ラッツェブルクは、旧メクレンブルク＝シュトレーリッツ大公国を構成していたラッツェブルク公国の一部というか主要都市であり、詳細は未確認ですが、現在、ラッツェブルク公国の大半はメクレンブルク＝フォアポンメルン州に属するものの、湖上のラッツェブルクはシュレスヴィヒ＝ホルシュタイン州に属しているのではないかと思います。

　ミハエル殿下は、現当主のボルヴィン殿下の次男。
　今回、ミハエル殿下が会談したのは、メクレンブルク＝シュトレーリッツがかつてこの土地を統治していたということに基づくものでしょう。
